The US forces are struggling, under Omaha Beach-like conditions, to once again establish a base on the main land. A roaring sand storm creates both obstacles and opportunities for each side as it varies in intensity during the course of the battle. The area is riddled with improvised explosives and an advancing force needs to be on sharp look-out for enemies hidden by the side of the roads.
