In addition to many returning vehicles from Battlefield 4, Naval Assault adds a new vehicle perfect for traversing the islands and waterways on the new maps.

Field Notes
The new Hover Patrol Craft (ACV) performs similarly to the PWC or Quad Bike. But unlike those specialized vehicles, the Hover Patrol Craft can skim across both land and sea, making it perfect for island-hopping maneuvers. Both the driver and passenger positions are completely exposed however, so keep moving to avoid falling victim to small arms fire. The passenger is very effective when equipped with a guided weapon like the Javelin or Stinger. The vehicle has no other weapons, so avoid direct contact with enemy units when possible—especially attack boats.
