Weapons

The Dragon’s Teeth expansion adds five new weapons, but these weapons aren’t available immediately. To unlock each new weapon you must complete an assignment, requiring you to fulfill a set of specific tasks. Upon the completion of an assignment, a new weapon is unlocked. Like the weapons included with Battlefield 4, every weapon has its own unlock progression, along with special items that are unlocked via battlepacks, allowing you to equip new accessories such as scopes and rail attachments. No two weapons are exactly the same, so get to know them and select ones that best reflect your style of play.

Bulldog Assault Rifle

• Ammo: 7.62x51mm NATO

Designed by retired US Marine, this compact stock allows the M14 or M1A to become a true CQB weapon while still having a greater range and more punch than an M4 carbine. Using space age materials, the Bulldog 762 places the M14’s cocking handle not only farther forward, but also makes it ambidextrous.

First announced in 2013, the weapon is available in several selective fire configurations for military and police use. It is gas operated, utilizing short-stroke gas piston and rotary bolt locking, firing from a closed bolt for enhanced accuracy and safety. It takes ammunition from proprietary box magazines. Its layout is partially based on the AR-15 platform.

“Concealable Subsonic/Supersonic Suppressed Sniper System” is a bolt action Sniper Rifle. It is designed as a compact and concealable precision tactical rifle in urban settings.

The Model 6 Unica is a semi-automatic revolver developed in Italy and sold by the Mateba company. The weapon uses the recoil from firing to rotate the cylinder and cock the hammer, unlike conventional revolvers, which depend on the user physically pulling the trigger and/or cocking the hammer to actuate the weapon’s mechanism of operation.

The DEagle 44 shares the same damage and range as the .44 Magnum, but has a higher rate of fire, quicker reload, and larger capacity, as well as lacking the revolvers’ trigger pull delay. However, it also is slightly less accurate, gains more spread per shot, and has a lower bullet velocity. Overall, it is still at a large advantage over the .44 Magnum.
