What's New
Here is a quick rundown of the cool things that have been added in this expansion pack.
- Four New Maps: As if Battlefield wasn’t intense enough, prepare for four new urban, close-quarters multiplayer maps that force you to think quickly: Lumphini Garden, Pearl Market, Propaganda, Sunken Dragon.
- Five New Weapons: Complete assignments to unlock the Bulldog, MPX, CS5, Unica 6, and Deagle 44.
- New Gadget: Ballistic Shield - block incoming fire.
- New Battle Pickup: R.A.W.R. – a heavily armed, remotely operated ground vehicle.
- Chain Link: In this new game mode you must link together capture points creating a chain in order to win.
- Eleven New Assignments: Complete the tasks required by these assignments to unlock new weapons and dog tags.
- Three New Awards: Play Chain Link to earn more ribbons and medals associated with the new game mode.
- New Achievements and Trophies: Dragon’s Teeth adds five new multiplayer-based achievements and trophies.
Chain Link
Chain Link is the newest mode to Battlefield 4, A lot like Conquest, this new mode is flag point capture and the objective is to get as many flags as possible with the least amount of respawns. Each team starts with the same amount of tickets and must capture flags in consecutive order to keep from bleeding. Capturing two flags next to each other for example, A and B, will create a chain between the two flags causing the opposing team to bleed tickets at a higher rate. The more links your team has, the faster the other team will bleed.
- At the start of the round, squads should coordinate with their commander to take the closest and third closest flags to the team’s spawn setting up the team’s next move of creating a double link causing an early bleed on the opposing team.
- It is always important to protect every flag that your team controls, however it is crucial to protect flags with chains in both directions because if the enemy captures one your team will lose two chain links instead of one.
