Offensive Scouting Report

QB Robert Griffin III is still looking to return to the form of his incredible rookie season. The scheme should allow him to make the easy throws to get his confidence up. While his speed is still amazing, it can lead to injury, and you need him on the field.
Don’t forget about FB Darrel Young, who is an excellent all-around player. The more you can get him on the field in those pistol sets, the better.
The Redskins’ receiving corps is still one of the fastest in the league, but make sure to round it out with some size via the draft.

Defensive Scouting Report

The Redskins transformed their defensive line seemingly overnight and should now be able to shut down the run without sending much help.
With veteran LB Brian Orakpo moving to the Titans, the defense is now in the control of LB Ryan Kerrigan. Lock him up for the long term, because you can’t live without his 97 Power Moves rating.
The Redskins’ secondary is average but has a real chance to develop into a solid man-coverage unit led by CB Chris Culliver. Start to develop the young talent, even if they take some bumps early.

Morris is great at securing the football and picking up as many yards as possible in this scheme.
He is best when put on a straight line ahead — it doesn’t matter who is in his way.

With Knighton and LE Stephen Paea, the Redskins have one of the strongest fronts in the entire game.
Knighton is one of the best pure run stuffers in the league. He will anchor your defense.

Scherff is a promising player for the future and will seal the edge in the run game.
Scherff needs upgrades to strength and pass blocking, but unfortunately you can’t afford to wait to start him.

Jones is an excellent choice to spell HB Alfred Morris. They are very similar players.
Jones will need an upgrade to ball carrier vision if he plans on taking over the bulk of the carries in the future.
