General Strategy

The speed-run style is perfect for a player who prefers to run outside the tackles and can make moves in the open field. While you won’t have the consistency of a ground-and-pound attack, you can break off big runs that will frustrate opponents who can’t contain you. Consider getting the QB involved in the run game, and look for a halfback who not only has an elusive style but can catch out of the backfield.
