Defense is often the side of the ball that is overlooked in Ultimate Team, as most players will try to light up the scoreboard first. The good news is that there are plenty of great value players on defense that can deliver results if fit into the right scheme and playbook. Make sure to find a good playbook and think about where you struggle. If you can’t stop the run, find some strong defensive linemen to help out. Once you realize that two players can be as good as one if you’re willing to make some adjustments and try new formations, you will be ready to win games with your budget lineup!
