Offense
The 49ers’ playbook is mainly best for players who want a power rushing attack. However, players who enjoy using a mobile QB and the shotgun running game can still find success if they can strike the right balance.
Key Formation
Pistol Full House TE is the best example of what this playbook has to offer. A solid power rushing attack with easy throws if the defense gets greedy.

Defense
The 49ers’ defense is best when constructed with two different linebacker types. Look for two balanced defenders at the MLB position with a strong OLB on one side and a quicker pass rusher on the other! One of your MLBs and your pass-rushing OLB will be on the field nearly every down, so go elite.
Key Formation
The 3-4 Odd is a great starting formation to see if your opponent can beat your zone coverage with passing, and it doesn’t give up too much in the run game.
