Offensive Scouting Report
- QB Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in football and consistently keeps the Packers in the playoff hunt. While he doesn’t have the same speed any longer, he can still pick up some first downs if teams forget to contain or spy him.
- HB Eddie Lacy is an amazing back who is capable of carrying the offense at times. Take advantage of his talents in the passing game, because most defenders in the secondary can’t tackle him.
- The WR combo of Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb is more than most teams can handle. The Packers were very smart to keep those two together for the long term.
Defensive Scouting Report
- The Packers’ linebacking corps will have to absorb the loss of veteran A.J. Hawk, but they still can still get it done. Allow Julius Peppers and Mike Neal to rush the passer while Matthews and the young Carl Bradford hold down the middle.
- RE Mike Daniels is an excellent pass rusher on the defensive line. Support him in the run game with a strong LB like Mike Neal.
- CBs Sam Shields and Casey Hayward were smart choices to build around for the Green Bay Packers. Give Hayward a solid contract offer because you no longer have the depth without CB Tramon Williams in town.
Schedule
Key Players
- Make sure to use all of the new throw types to take advantage of Rodgers’s stunning accuracy.
- Aaron Rodgers is the best overall QB in the game and is capable of running any style of offense.
- Matthews has a great ability to recognize plays and avoid being faked out by play action.
- Learn to line up Clay Matthews all over your defense and that Hit Power rating will pay big dividends.
- Randall is a great addition to a secondary that had some turnover in the off-season.
- Randall has nice balance and will be a great combo with last year’s first-round selection, FS Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
- Janis will need some upgrades to route running, but he could be a nice player to fill in for Jarrett Boykin.
- Janis is 6’3” with a 90 Jump rating; if anyone can get him the ball in a good spot, it’s Aaron Rodgers.

Advanced Setup:
- Follow your lead blockers.

BEST PASS: Pistol Y Trips — Y Trail
Setup/Reads:
- Against zone coverage look for the trail route, which should have plenty of space cleared out. Be patient and consider playmakering it upfield for an even bigger gain.
- Against man coverage, target the middle of the field, and make sure to get Randall Cobb in this position with the Strong Slot package.
- This play requires you to have confidence in going down the sideline to Nelson when you spot a favorable one-on-one matchup.
Advanced Setup:
- Wheel the HB.
