This second Deus Ex: Mankind Divided add-on mission takes place prior to the events of Mankind Divided. It covers augmented field agent Adam Jensen’s first undercover assignment for Interpol’s elite counterterrorism group, Task Force 29. Debriefed in Prague by an agency psychologist, Dr. Delara Auzenne, Jensen recounts his inaugural mission.
Deployed as a prisoner to an infamous aug detention facility in the Arizo na desert known as The Pent House, Jensen seeks information about rumored terror attacks planned against pro-Aug groups in the United States. His contact in the super-max prison is Hector Guerrero, another TF-29 agent whose status is “Dark Opal”–i.e., undercover and out of contact.
