Points of Interest

1. Art Museum

The Art Museum is home to some of the finest paintings and sculptures in the world—but you’re going to be more interested in getting to the rooftop than going on a tour. The Art Museum serves as the starting point to reaching the roofs of both the Museum of Natural History (POI 2) and the library (POI 6).

Head to the side of the Art Museum, where you’ll see some flower pots. If you’ve finished Story mode, then some vines will already be here. If not, you can use the farmer to water the plants. Climb the vine and make your way along the handholds on the ceiling and along the wall.

Once you can pull yourself up, slide under the small entryway. Every color swapper you could ever want is here. Head into the elevator.

The elevator takes you to a higher level. Even though there’s a lot of space outside the museum, there’s really nothing to see here. Hop on the two flowers to get onto this awning.

Head to the left across the awnings until you reach a giant fan. Leap into the gust and rise up.

Race up a long series of slopes, then climb a LEGO patch on the far wall. You’ll then be enjoying the view from the top of the Art Museum!

2. Museum of Natural History

The Museum of Natural History is the most notable building in Uptown. It has an enormous and expansive rooftop and two large towers, and offers access to the library even though it’s all the way across town.

To access this museum’s roof, you must first reach the roof of the Art Museum (POI 1). Once there, look for this chicken symbol.

Activate the symbol and then make a long chicken-glide down to the roof of the Museum of Natural History.

3. Docks

Though uptown is full of hustle and bustle, you can usually find a quiet moment to yourself at the docks. And then, when you want to cause a ruckus, check for a dynamite dispenser at the dock house!

4. Apartments

This quiet set of brownstones are located in the middle of uptown. You’ll, of course, want to get onto the roof.

On the south side of the apartments is this blue and white LEGO wall. Climb it and use the handhold above to get a little higher.

There’s another LEGO wall ahead. Bounce off it to reach a high flagpole, then swing to the roof.

Make your way north up the rooftop and hop across some thin poles to reach this catapult pad at the end of the roof. Launch yourself across the street, over to another set of apartments.

Walk the tightrope after you land, and keep heading left.

Hop across a few more thin poles, and before you know it, you’ll reach the end of the apartment rooftops. Nice run.

5. Toy Store

Across from the apartments is a sweet-looking toy store that happens to hold the most important red brick in all of LEGO City. But how to get up to the roof?

Check out the rockets. Those are actually platforms. Use the color swapper at the Art Museum to load up some green paint. Shoot the two lights below the rockets to activate them.

Grab the handhold attached to the toy block and make your way onto the moving rockets.

Jump onto a rocket platform, then ride up to the catwalk above. Now you’re king of the toy store!

6. Library

To reach the library roof, you’ll need to make your way onto the roof of the Museum of Natural History (POI 2). Once there, head toward the west tower.

Climb a drainpipe to find a transporter pad. Use it and you’re teleported to the top of the tower, right onto a chicken symbol.

Activate the chicken symbol and glide over the docks and to the library. It’s a long flight, so don’t look down!

The lengthy chicken-glide doesn’t quite get you to the roof. You land by some statues of LEGO folks reaching up to grasp knowledge. Well, you should reach up too—and get to the handhold above you. Climb the wall and you’ll step right onto a catapult pad, which will launch you to the very top of the library.

Alien Caught

Reward: Gold brick

Head to the apartments (POI 4) and climb the wall on the south side. You can’t miss this space crate. Match the color code and summon the alien invader!

ATM Smashed

Reward: Gold brick

The ATM is neatly tucked on the side of a building on the east end of uptown. It’s right near the border of the LEGO City Airport.

Boulder Destroyed

Reward: Gold brick

Down by the docks (POI 3), you’ll find this little lawn. The special boulder is underneath the regular boulders.

Cat Rescued

Reward: Gold brick

Use the “Points of Interest” section to reach the top of the toy store (POI 5). Then go to the right to find a cat in need of rescue.

Character Token 1

Reward: Bucky Butler

Paint the two knights at the Museum of Natural History (POI 2) to reveal this token.

The token appears on the museum steps.

Character Token 2

Reward: Mike Northeast

Follow the “Points of Interest” section to reach the roof of the Museum of Natural History (POI 2). Once there, head to the east tower. Don’t climb the wall, though. Instead, follow the thin ledge around the side of the tower.

Eventually, you’ll reach a character token.

Character Token 3

Reward: Roman Soldier

For this token, you’ll actually start at the LEGO City Airport. Get to the second deck of Fin’s Restaurant and find this flower pot. Water it and climb up onto the restaurant’s roof.

Behind the billboard is a special wall. Jump onto it and then bounce on top of the roof.

Scamper up the sloped roof, heading toward a chicken symbol. Activate the symbol and then chicken-glide onto the shark billboard.

Leap up the handholds to reach the top of the billboard.

Walk along the tightrope that follows to reach the next billboard, then continue onto the next tightrope.

Once you reach the roof, head to the right to find the token.

Character Token 4

Reward: Pharaoh

There’s a pharaoh statue in front of the Museum of Natural History (POI 2); paint it gold to reveal this token, which appears right nearby, in front of the Rex statue.

Character Token 5

Reward: Kevin Jacobs

Find this token in the back of the arcade.

Character Token 6

Reward: Janitor

Build the four bubble gum machines around the zone to reveal this token.

Once completed, you’ll find the token in front of the docks.

Character Token 7

Reward: Gladiator

Go to the docks (POI 3) and smash objects, then build the three fishing poles by the water.

A token materializes at the dock house after you build all three fishing poles.

Character Token 8

Reward: Officer Park

This token is on the awning in front of the Herbert Hotel. Use the grapple gun to get up to it.

Coffee Break Completed

Reward: Gold brick

Take a load off at this coffee break station in front of the Herbert Hotel.

Disguise Booth

Reward: Gold brick, “Bus Driver” character token

The disguise booth is out in the open, near the docks (POI 3).

District Conquered

Reward: Gold brick

Get to the roof of the Art Museum (POI 1) with help from the “Points of Interest” section. Once there, use an astronaut boost to get onto this flagpole. Climb the flagpole, then slide down the long tightrope. Wahoo!

You’ll land right near a flag symbol. Fly your flag because uptown is all yours.

Drill Thrill Completed

Reward: Gold brick

Go to the roof of the Museum of Natural History (POI 2) and then head toward the west tower. Near the crash mat is the fuse box that starts up a drill thrill challenge.

Free Run

Rewards: Gold brick, “Cowboy” character token

Follow the instructions in the “Points of Interest” section to reach the end of the apartment rooftops (POI 4). Once there, climb to the top of the billboard to snatch this zone’s free run token.

The free run challenge starts back at the ground floor of the apartments. Better get a move on!

Gang Arrested

Reward: Gold brick

Head to the end of the apartment rooftops (POI 4), using the “Points of Interest” section for guidance. Once there, you’ll see the scan spot at the roof’s highest point. Find the gang, then make the bust!

Pig Returned

Reward: Gold brick

The pig awaits atop the dome of the Museum of Natural History (POI 2). Use the “Points of Interest” section to help you get to the roof. Once there, look for this handhold.

Climb up and cross a tightrope. Keep going until you reach a pig. Hop on and ride the little guy to the cannon at the docks (POI 3).

Red Brick

Reward: Super Color Gun

Go to the roof of the toy store (POI 5). You can check the “Points of Interest” section to get there. Once on the roof, head to the left to find this transporter pad.

It will teleport you behind a wall, where you can grab the red brick. This brick gives you every color for your color gun, meaning you never have to use a color swapper again!

Silver Statue Destroyed

Reward: Gold brick

Grab some dynamite from the dock house, then head to the front of the Museum of Natural History (POI 2). Get up to the Rex statue’s barrel with a jetpack jump, then plant the dynamite and hop off before the statue goes boom!

Superbuild 1: Call-in Point

Reward: Gold brick, “Hestia” vehicle token

This superbuild is on the street in front of the Art Museum (POI 1).

Superbuild 2: Call-in Point

Reward: Gold brick, “Hazard” vehicle token

You can build another call-in spot at the south end of uptown, behind the library (POI 6).

Super Star

Reward: “Pop Star” character token (after you find all Super Stars in the city)

With help from the “Points of Interest” section, get to the roof of the library (POI 6). Smash the yellow box and build the pieces into one of the city’s five Super Stars.

Train Station

Reward: Gold brick, fast travel

The train station is on the north side of the Museum of Natural History (POI 2).

Vehicle Robbery Completed

Reward: Gold brick, “Smallisimo” vehicle token

The garage is on the north end of the apartments (POI 4).

Vehicle Robber Arrested

Reward: Gold brick, “Flare” vehicle token

Start along the apartment rooftops (POI 4), following the guide in the “Points of Interest” section. Right after you use the catapult pad to reach the other set of apartments, look to your right. Jetpack jump up to the blue and white LEGO patch on the right wall.

Climb onto the roof, where you’ll find this scan spot. Find the nearby car thief, then chase him down and make the arrest!
