Points of Interest

1. Carnival Games

It wouldn’t be a festival without some carnival games. Merry-go-rounds, bouncy castles, and much more await!

2. LEGO City Gym

You won’t get much of a workout at the LEGO City Gym, which is located just north of the carnival games, but you will find some extracurricular activities.

To get into the gym, you’ll need to find this trio of pig balloons on the lawn. Smash the blue barrel on the ground nearby and build a trampoline, then bounce up onto the first pig balloon.

Bounce your way from one pig balloon to the next until you reach a roof. Go to the back ledge and follow it to the right, leaping onto the weight-lifter sign as you circle around the building.

Flip from a flagpole to reach the final ledge. From here, you can leap down to the lower roof with a lost pig and skylight. Pry open the latter to enter the gym.

3. Mega Building

Festival Square doesn’t have much in the way of tall buildings, so this impressive structure really stands out. As impressive as it is to look at from the ground, it’s even more so from the roof.

From the ground floor of the mega building, look for this fenced off construction area. Vault the fence and smash a barrel, then build a trampoline from its bricks.

Bounce up to a ledge, then go either left or right, circling around the building until you reach a planter. Water the pot and make your way up the vines to the climbable wall.

Use a drainpipe to climb even higher up the mega building. Circle around the building again and build another trampoline to bound up higher still.

After a bit more climbing, you can hop onto the roof of one of Festival Square’s tallest buildings.

4. Mercy Hearts Hospital

Even the best of the boys in blue get sick in LEGO City. Fortunately, there’s a big hospital in Festival Square for recovery. There’s plenty to do around the hospital, even if you’re not ill.

Look for this open garage door and head to the elevator. This is the elevator that Chase activates during Story mode while racing to save Natalia.

The elevator takes you to the second floor, where there’s a dynamite dispenser. Go right and climb a tall sunflower to get up to the third floor.

Vault a few beams as you continue to the right. Climb the blue and white LEGO patch on the far wall to reach the fourth floor.

Go left, across the top of the glass tunnel, and you’ll reach the hospital tower. Wall-bounce your way to the top, just as you did in Story mode.

Now you’re king of the world! Or, at least, this hospital.

Alien Caught

Find the low grapple point over the front door of the hospital (POI 4). Grapple up to a low ledge and run to the left to find a space crate. Enter the pattern shown to reveal the alien menace.

This ATM is tucked in a corner next to the LEGO City Gym (POI 2).

Go to the north side of the mega building (POI 3) to find this ATM.

BBQ Fire Extinguished

Reward: Gold brick

The BBQ is along the street near the carnival games (POI 1). People are probably using it to cook food, but fires are dangerous. Best to put this one out.

Boulder Destroyed

The special boulder is in the southwest corner of the hospital parking lot (POI 4).

Cat Rescued

Reward: Gold brick

This one’s a cake walk. Find the kitty on the east side of Festival Square, near the LEGO City Gym (POI 2).

Character Token 1

Reward: Sumo Wrestler

Jump five times inside this bouncy castle, and a character token will appear overhead. Hold down the Jump button to get high jumps, just like you would on a trampoline.

Character Token 2

Reward: Vinnie Clown

Before you start this, make sure you have gold paint loaded in your color gun. Find some inside the glass tower in the downtown district. Once your color gun’s loaded, head to the giant clock tower and climb the ladder at its base.

Use the transporter pad behind the tower to teleport to the top of the nearby tented lighthouse—and right onto a chicken-glide symbol. Make a long glide over to the clock tower’s top.

Paint the silver clock face gold and it will open up, exposing a shaft. Jump into the tower and fall down the shaft to land right atop the character token!

Character Token 3

Reward: Circus Clown

Notice the bunches of balloons around the carnival games area (POI 1). Most of them have a red, green, yellow, and blue balloon, except for four bunches that have an odd silver balloon. Paint each of these silver balloons either red, blue, yellow, or green to make them more colorful. If you don’t have the Super Color Gun red brick, you can find every color swapper in the glass tower in downtown.

After you color all four balloons, a character token appears above the steps here.

Character Token 4

Reward: Weightlifter

Ring the three strongman bells around the carnival games (POI 1) to flex Chase’s muscles.

Character Token 5

Reward: Gorilla Suit Guy

There are three sets of three basketball hoops around the carnival games area (POI 1). Paint the three silver basketball backboards red so that you can use them, then play and win all three games at all three sets (nine games in total).

After winning all nine games of hoops, the character token appears under the freeway. Wall-jump onto the overhead LEGO patch, then shimmy over and snatch it.

Character Token 6

Reward: Doctor Jones

It takes some work to reach this token. Start by heading to the east side of Festival Square and looking for these narrow LEGO walls. Bounce between the walls and up to a handhold.

Navigate the series of beams and thin ledges as you deftly maneuver around the building.

Keep going until you reach a drainpipe that takes you up to solid ground.

Vault over and slide under the beams as you sprint to the left, heading for a tightrope. Slide down to reach an awning, where the character token awaits.

Character Token 7

Reward: Natalia Kowalski

Go to the roof of the hospital’s main tower (POI 4) and chop through a boarded door to discover a hidden token. Check the “Points of Interest” section for help on navigating the hospital.

Character Token 8

Reward: Surgeon

Go to the front door of the hospital (POI 4), on the side with the parking lot. There’s a grapple point just above the door. Use the policeman’s grapple gun to get up, then go right to find this token out in the open.

Character Token 9

Reward: Tribal Chief

Use the robber to break into the bookstore on the east side of Festival Square. The token is at the store’s other end, visible through the window.

Coffee Break Completed

Reward: Gold brick

Vault over the fence that blocks off the construction at the foot of the mega building (POI 3), and you’ll find a coffee break spot where you build the trampoline.

Disguise Booth

Reward: Gold brick, “Doctor Smith” character token

Look for the disguise booth near the main street in the southeast end of Festival Square.

District Conquered

Reward: Gold brick

Follow the instructions in the “Points of Interest” section to reach the top of the hospital tower (POI 4). The flag spot is above a boarded door—use an astronaut to boost up and place your flag.

Drill Thrill Completed

Reward: Gold brick

Following the instructions in the “Points of Interest” section, make your way to the second floor of the hospital (POI 4). Fix the fuse box near the shattered glass walkway, then have fun drilling!

Flowers Watered

Reward: Gold brick

Find this flower box in an alley at the far east end of Festival Square.

Free Run

Rewards: Gold brick, “Robot” character token

Get to the top of the mega building (POI 3), using the “Points of Interest” section to guide you. Once there, chop through a boarded door and step onto the transporter pad inside.

Teleport and then run forward, vaulting beams and hopping across thin poles on your way to the free run token.

The free run challenge starts way down below, in front of the fenced-off area at the mega building’s base.

Gang Arrested

Reward: Gold brick

Start on the roof of the mega building (POI 3). Activate a chicken-glide symbol up here, then make a long glide onto a giant chicken balloon.

Giant balloons are bouncy—be careful not to fall, or you’ll have to start all over again! Walk the tightrope from the chicken balloon to the shark balloon, then keep bouncing from one giant balloon to the next, using another tightrope and a handhold as you go.

Get to the alligator balloon, then bounce up to its head, where an audio scan spot is located. Eavesdrop on the gang activity, then hurry to the carnival games (POI 1) and bust up the punks.

Pig Returned

Reward: Gold brick

Get to the secret entrance into the LEGO City Gym (POI 2), using the “Points of Interest” section to guide you. Right next to the skylight entrance is the pig. Ride the little guy over to the cannon near the carnival games (POI 1).

Red Brick

Reward: Larger Vehicle Boost

Use the “Points of Interest” section to reach the top of the mega building (POI 3). You can see the red brick, but just run around behind the brick enclosure with the free run token on top, and you’ll collect it.

Superbuild 1: Deep Sea Spin

Reward: Gold brick, “Deep Sea Diver” character token

In the center of the carnival games (POI 1) is an important superbuild. After all, it’s not a carnival without an octopus ride!

Superbuild 2: Call-in Point

Reward: Gold brick, “Douser” vehicle token

This superbuild is near the water, next to the freeway.

Superbuild 3: Helipad

Reward: Gold brick

This superbuild is constructed during Story mode. Chase builds this helipad atop the hospital (POI 4) and then uses a helicopter to fly Natalia to safety.

Train Station

Reward: Gold brick, fast travel

The train station is just north of the mega building.

Vehicle Robbery Completed

Reward: Gold brick, “Panacea” vehicle token

Look for this garage on the east end of the hospital. Pry open the door and make off with those wheels!

Vehicle Robber Arrested

Reward: Gold brick, “Inferno” vehicle token

Near the carnival games, along the water, is a festive-looking lighthouse. Walk into the front door to reach the top of the lighthouse stairs, where you’ll find a scan spot. Search for the car thief, then race to stop him.
