Points of Interest

1. Fin’s Restaurant

This quaint seafood joint is located west of the airport and is a favorite of locals and travelers alike. However, you can only enjoy the restaurant from the lower deck when you first arrive.

To reach the upper deck, first find this space crate near the back of the restaurant. Activating the crate teleports in an extra umbrella.

Bounce from one umbrella to the next and then onto the upper deck of Fin’s.

2. Airport Roof

Not surprisingly, the main attraction of this area is an airport. You won’t be checking any bags for a flight, though.

To start, look for this door with the special LEGO worker sticker. There’s a climbable LEGO patch on the wall above, but it’s a bit too high to reach.

To the right is a garage. Inside is a box you can carry. Grab it and take it back to the green LEGO pad.

Drop the box and build the pieces into a trampoline. Bounce up to the LEGO patch and then climb.

Use a wall runway on your way up to the roof. Here, you get to vault over a few beams.

This big fence stands in your way. Fortunately, you can vault over this as easily as you did one of those low beams you just hopped over. Head forward and you’ll be at the center of the south roof. From here, you can get to almost everything on top of the airport.

3. Freeway

To reach the airport, you’ll likely come from the freeway. It’s to the west of the airport and raised, meaning there’s an underpass. You’ll find some worthwhile items beneath the freeway.

4. Control Tower

Once you’re on the airport rooftop, there is one other sight to see—the top of the control tower. If you want to get up to where LEGO City air traffic controllers operate, start by getting on the airport roof. Head to the right, vaulting over and sliding under a few beams.

Head forward until you notice an orange pay phone. Around the corner is a set of special LEGO walls. Bounce up between them.

Now make your way to the left, vaulting over and sliding under more beams as you go.

Hop across a few thin poles to reach a climbable wall. Climb up to a catapult pad, and the hard work is done. Hop onto that pad.

Before you know it, you find yourself at the top of the control tower. Nice!

5. South Hangars

South of the airport are five hangars. One of them is big and impossible to miss, but don’t ignore the four smaller ones that are nearby.

Among the smaller hangars, the middle one is full of color swappers. Use the robber’s crowbar to break the door and gain access to these useful stations.

The LEGO City Airport is home to one of the rare ? Blocks. Find it underneath the freeway (POI 3).

Alien Caught

Reward: Gold brick

There’s a small hangar near the north runway of the airport. It has a boarded up door, which is no problem for your fireman. Take it down.

Once you’re inside, the hangar door automatically opens, revealing a space crate inside. Activate the crate to reveal the pesky alien attempting to sneak past airport security (probably with an unchecked bottle of water). Take him down!

ATM Smashed

Reward: Gold brick

Make sure no one can take out any cash by smashing the ATM in front of the airport.

BBQ Fire Extinguished 1

Reward: Gold brick

You’ll find this raging BBQ along the north wing of the airport.

BBQ Fire Extinguished 2

Reward: Gold brick

This BBQ is far from the action, past the parking lots.

Boulder Destroyed

The special boulder is underneath the freeway overpass.

Cat Rescued

Reward: Gold brick

A curious kitty managed to get stuck on top of the airport roof (POI 2). You better rescue it. Find this bit of shaky ground near the airport’s front side. Drill it and ride the water spout up to the handhold.

Head to the right, sliding under several signs. Before you reach the end of the walkway, you’ll pass a drainpipe. Climb it to reach a platform with a jetpack symbol.

Now you’ll super jetpack boost twice to reach the cat in need.

Character Token 1

Reward: Air Host

Using the astronaut’s jetpack, boost up to this handhold and pull yourself onto the thin ledge above.

Wall-hug you way around the edge of the building and leap down onto the gas tanks.

From here you can jump up to some more handholds. Keep climbing to get onto the roof.

Run forward and you’ll see this imposing fence ahead. Not to worry, you can climb the fence and vault over the beam without even needing to jump.

After you vault over the fence, you’ll see a locked door straight ahead. Break into this door and collect the character token inside.

Character Token 2

Reward: Airline Attendant 2

Once you’re on the roof of the airport (POI 2), head to the right, vaulting over a few beams. Stop after the last beam and drop down to a lower roof with some shaky ground.

Drill through the lower roof and you’ll fall into the office below, landing near a character token. Use the nearby transporter pad to make your escape.

Character Token 3

Reward: Airline Pilot

This token appears after you build the LCX Control Tower. After you build the tower, you’ll see a ladder you can climb. This gets you onto the control tower walkway—use your grapple gun to zip up to the top and snatch this token.

Character Token 4

Reward: Cleaner

Paint the three silver bin doors red, green, and yellow to earn this character token. Check the maps for their locations, and find useful color swappers at the south hangars (POI 5).

Once you paint all three doors, this token appears in front of the airport.

Character Token 5

Reward: Air Hostess

Underneath the freeway (POI 3), you’ll find this token floating pretty high in the air. Too high to reach even with your jetpack. Good thing there’s a special LEGO wall nearby. Bounce up and grab the token.

Character Token 6

Reward: Pizza Delivery Boy

There are four silver phones around the zone. Paint them orange to get this token to appear. Check the map to see the phones’ locations.

The token shows up under the freeway, near the special boulder.

Character Token 7

Reward: Clown Robber Wes

Paint the flowers in front of Quentin’s to earn this token. The token materializes on an awning above the flowers after you paint them properly. Find color swappers at the south hangars (POI 5).

Character Token 8

Reward: Alexandra Greenwood

There’s a park in the south end of the airport, bordering uptown. You’ll find a tall fence here.

Follow it toward uptown and you’ll find this spot where the fence ends.

Step inside and head back the other way to find this character token.

Coffee Break Completed

Reward: Gold brick

Get onto the roof of the airport (POI 2), using the “Points of Interest” section to assist you. If you go to the right, you’ll soon find a spot for a sip of coffee.

Disguise Booth

Reward: Gold brick, “Airline Attendant 1” character token

The disguise booth is at the southern end of the airport.

District Conquered

Reward: Gold brick

To conquer the LEGO City airport, you’ll need to buy the LCX Control Tower superbuild. Once you build it, you can climb up the ladder onto the control tower walkway. Use your grapple gun on the grapple point to reach the top of the control tower, where you can plant your flag and claim the airport for Chase McCain!

Drill Thrill Completed

Reward: Gold brick

Go to the airport roof (POI 2), using the “Points of Interest” section to assist you. Once there, head to the left and you’ll see the fuse box. Use it to kick-start a frantic drill thrill challenge!

Flowers Watered 1

Reward: Gold brick

Get onto the upper deck of Fin’s Restaurant (POI 1) and make your way around the side to find the flower bed.

Flowers Watered 2

Reward: Gold brick

Get to the roof of the airport (POI 2). From there, head left to find the flower bed around the corner, past the drill thrill fuse box.

Free Run

Rewards: Gold brick, “Skater Girl” character token

The free run token is on top of the control tower (POI 4). Use the previous “Points of Interest” section to find out how to get up there.

The free run challenge starts where you first go to get onto the airport roof (POI 2).

Gang Arrested

Reward: Gold brick

Check out the bus stop across the street from the airport if you want a chance to uncover some gang activity. Use this flower pot to get atop the bus stop overhang.

Use the scan spot to learn that a local gang is heading over to bust up the large hangar behind the airport. This opens the large hangar, which just so happens to unlock the time trial challenge in this zone. Hurry over there and bust up those goons!

Pig Returned

Reward: Gold brick

Make your way onto the roof of the airport and head right, leaping over some beams as necessary. Eventually, you’ll see the helipad superbuild. Perform a jetpack jump and boost up to the handholds on the back of the nearby billboard.

Climb up the handholds to reach the beam at the top. Walk across to the right to find the pig in waiting. Hop on that piggy and head for the cannon, which lies to the south, next to the freeway (POI 3).

Red Brick

Reward: Super Fast Travel

You’ll need Rex Fury to claim this red brick. With Rex, head to the hangars behind the airport. This small, red hangar has a door only Rex can bust down. Rip it open to find your prize inside.

Silver Statue Destroyed

Reward: Gold brick

If you need some fun sticks, the dynamite dispenser is right in front of the airport. (So much for tightened security measures!) Take your dynamite to the Rex statue, which is out in the open in a plaza near Fin’s Restaurant (POI 1).

Superbuild 1: Stunt Ramp

Reward: Gold brick, “Pilot” character token

Get some sweet air by building a stunt ramp near Fin’s Restaurant.

Superbuild 2: Helipad

Reward: Gold brick, “Camel” vehicle token

From the roof of the airport’s north wing (POI 2), head to the right to get up to this superbuild.

Superbuild 3: Loop de Loop

Reward: Gold brick

There’s no better place for a loop de loop than on an airport runway. Find this superbuild on the runway, not far from the water. You won’t automatically receive a vehicle token for building this superbuild, but a token appears at the crest of the loop de loop—try driving a car through!

Superbuild 4: Call-in Point

Reward: Gold brick, “Protector” vehicle token

This vehicle call-in spot is near the airport runways.

Superbuild 5: LCX Control Tower

Reward: Gold brick

Technically, there’s no working control tower on top of the LEGO City airport until you build it. Get up to the control tower (POI 4), following the tips in the “Points of Interest” section to reach the top. The superbuild is waiting for you.

Superbuild 6: Call-in Point

Reward: Gold brick, “M.O.V.” vehicle token

You’ll find this superbuild west of the airport, near the far parking lot.

Time Trial

Reward: Gold brick, “Vor” vehicle token

Ready for a race around the airport runways? The time trial for this area is smack-dab on a runway, close to the southern wing of the airport.

Train Station

Reward: Gold brick, fast travel

This station is located in the plaza near the silver Rex statue.

Vehicle Robbery Completed

Reward: Gold brick, “Rugged” vehicle token

Begin this challenge by breaking into this locked garage, located on the north side of the runway.

Vehicle Robber Arrested

Reward: Gold brick, “Shifter” vehicle token

What better place to spy on car thieves than on the roof of a giant hangar? Head to the south hangers (POI 5) and go to the south side of the largest one. Jetpack jump and boost up onto the ledge.

Climb a drainpipe and use your grapple gun to pull yourself on top of the large hangar. The scan spot is at the roof’s far end.

Vehicle Token

Reward: Groundhog

Superbuild the loop de loop on the runway, then drive a car up it to snatch this token.
