Points of Interest

1. Playground

Kings Court isn’t just for politicians and art snobs. It’s also for kids! And bored cops.

Of course, it’s not all fun and games. You can leave the playground and get to the rooftops of the surrounding buildings. Start by finding this green trash bin next to Jenny’s Diner. Jump onto it and use an astronaut boost to get up onto the overhang.

Make your way around the overhang until you can boost up to this handhold.

Use the wall runway to scamper along the “Jenny’s Diner” sign. Climb up the far wall and enjoy the smell of pancakes coming from inside.

2. The Docks

The Kings Court docks are small and easily overlooked, but anyone who wants to find all of LEGO City’s secrets should be sure to check it out.

3. Office Buildings

On the west side of Kings Court is a long series of connected office buildings, featuring tall arches with walkways and posters advertising artwork you could see at the museum. There’s a lot you can do in and around the office buildings, so it’s definitely worth checking out.

Exploring the Rooftops

Your first goal is to get on top of these buildings. Isn’t that what all the cool cops are doing these days? Start at the south side of the office buildings, where you’ll see a climbable wall.

Climb the wall, walk along a tightrope, and then climb the next wall ahead. Grab on to the handhold and pull yourself onto the first office roof. Wall-jump up to a catapult pad, which slings you to the side of the next building.

Race up a sloped rooftop, then hop across a few thin poles. Vault a fence, then run to the foreground and look to drop down to this ledge, landing near a wall runway.

Use the runway to cross the gap, then climb up the handhold to reach the end of the office building rooftops.

Entering the Offices

Aside from exploring the roofs of these buildings, you can actually enter some of the offices here. Start by looking for these brick arches. There’s a drainpipe here you can climb.

At the top is a locked door, primed for the robber to break into with his crowbar. Once inside, you’ll see plenty of goodies that make your short trip worthwhile, including a red color swapper that comes in handy.

4. City Hall

Smack dab in the center of Kings Court is City Hall. Here, the most important men and women of LEGO City meet to discuss what to have for lunch. As with most important buildings in LEGO City, you’ll want to get up top.

Start by locating and watering a planter in front of City Hall. Climb up the sunflower and onto the balcony.

Head right, hugging the wall as you inch around a thin ledge. Leap across the long series of flagpoles that follows, making your way to the building’s other side.

Inch around another thin ledge to reach another planter. Water it and climb the sunflower to reach the roof. You’ll find a variety of goodies atop City Hall!

Alien Caught

The space crate is on top of this building, near the docks (POI 2). Use a climbable wall to reach it, then activate the crate to expose the alien threat.

ATM Smashed

Find this ATM standing next to Kings Court’s south entrance.

BBQ Fire Extinguished

Reward: Gold brick

This blazing flame’s an easy find, near the back of the playground (POI 1).

Boulder Destroyed

You’ll find this special boulder in the south gardens of City Hall (POI 4).

Cat Rescued

Reward: Gold brick

There have been a number of complaints from the guests at the Herbert Hotel about a cat crying for help. The hotel is in the far northwest corner of Kings Court. Find the shaky ground by the entrance and drill into it to create a water spout.

Ride the spout onto the awning. The poor lost kitty is trapped behind the hotel sign.

Character Token 1

Reward: Mayor Gleeson

This token is locked behind a seemingly unbreakable cage. Only Bullet Bill can destroy the cage. Good thing Kings Court has its very own cannon that fires Bullet Bills!

On the walkway on the east side near City Hall (POI 4), there are some green cannons. One cannon, right near the train station, fires off a Bullet Bill when you pass by.

Bullet Bill chases after you; lure him toward the distant cage. There are a lot of pedestrians and objects in the way, so if Bullet Bill hits any of them, you’ll have to start over!

Lead Bullet Bill north, back to the cage. Switch to the astronaut and boost onto the cage, watching for Bullet Bill. Jump or drop off the cage, away from Bullet Bill, just as he’s about to reach you. This causes Bullet Bill to strike the cage, destroying it and exposing the token!

Character Token 2

Reward: Royal Guard

This token is on top of a statue near Blackwell Tower. But to reach it, you actually need to go to this nearby building. Next to a dynamite dispenser is a flower pot. Water it and climb up the plant.

Hop onto the transporter pad and you’ll be teleported above the statue.

You’ll grab the token as you fall, so relax for a moment and let gravity do its thing!

Character Token 3

Reward: Cal Wainwright

At the docks (POI 2), look for the boarded up door. Use the firefighter’s axe to break it down. The character token is right inside the building.

Character Token 4

Reward: Drew Calhoun

This one is hard to spot. At the docks (POI 2), go to the pier that has the space crate. Near the crate is a sign with a beam on top that you can stand on. Jetpack jump onto this sign, then do another boost—the token is right above you!

Character Token 5

Reward: Farmer Bales

This token is on the roof of City Hall (POI 4), right behind the Rex statue. See the “Points of Interest” section for details on how to reach the top of City Hall.

Character Token 6

Reward: Graduate

Climb the drainpipe and break into the office buildings on the west side of Kings Court (POI 3). The token is there for the taking.

Character Token 7

Reward: Doorlock Holmes

Paint four silver phone booths red around Kings Court to unlock this token. You can find a red color swapper inside the office buildings (POI 3). Then check the map to see where the four phone booths are located.

The token appears near the fountain.

Character Token 8

Reward: Dr. Whatsit

Paint the silver LEGO brick statue’s three blocks red, blue, and yellow to make a character token appear right nearby.

Coffee Break Completed

Reward: Gold brick

You’ve probably done a lot of work so far in LEGO City. You deserve a break. Why not take one inside the office building (POI 3)? Just climb the drainpipe and break inside.

Disguise Booth

Reward: Gold brick, “Horace Cone” character token

The disguise booth is on the east side of Kings Court, right next to the train station.

District Conquered

Reward: Gold brick

Get yourself to the top of the playground rooftops (POI 1), using the “Points of Interest” section for guidance. Once there, wall-jump to the highest point of the roof. Raise a flag up here and claim this Jenny’s Diner as your own!

Drill Thrill Completed

Reward: Gold brick

Look for the gold doors of the theater by the south entrance into Kings Court. There’s shaky ground here, which you can drill to create a water spout to ride up to the theater awning.

Climb the ladder to get onto the roof. Fix the fuse box behind the sign, then hurry up and get drilling!

Flowers Watered

Reward: Gold brick

Find this flower bed inside the office building (POI 3) on the west end of this area.

Free Run

Rewards: Gold brick, “Street Skater” character token

Make your way onto the rooftops near the playground (POI 1). If you have trouble, check out the “Points of Interest” section for help. Once on the roof, look for this special wall and wall-jump onto the higher section of roof, where the free run token is located.

With the token collected, the free run challenge appears on the other side of the Jenny’s Diner roof.

Gang Arrested

Reward: Gold brick

Over by the playground (POI 1), on the south end, is a fenced-in restaurant called Tinebury. It has a drainpipe that’s perfect for climbing.

Make your way up until you reach this section. Use an astronaut to boost up and reach the ledge and roof above.

The scan spot is up even higher. Chop through a door and climb a ladder, then leap over to the highest roof’s handhold. Climb to the scan spot, then bust up that gang!

Pig Returned 1

Reward: Gold brick

Use the “Points of Interest” section to help reach the end of the office building rooftops (POI 3). There’s a pig eagerly awaiting rescue near the crash mat. Don’t disappoint it! The cannon is all the way down to the southeast.

Pig Returned 2

Reward: Gold brick

The second pig is on the roof of City Hall (POI 4). To get there, check out the “Points of Interest” section. The pig is on the roof’s west end.

Red Brick

Reward: Invincibility

You’ll need Rex Fury for this one. Follow the instructions to reach the rooftops on the playground (POI 1), as shown in the “Points of Interest” section. When you get toward the Jenny’s Diner sign, don’t run across it. Instead, climb this drainpipe onto another part of the roof.

With Rex Fury, grab the orange handle on the door and tear it off with your mighty strength. The red brick is inside.

Silver Statue Destroyed

Reward: Gold brick

Get to the Rex statue on the roof of City Hall (POI 4) by following the tips in the “Points of Interest” section. The statue is right in the center of the roof and easy to find once you’re up there. There’s a dynamite dispenser near the theater at the south end of Kings Court.

Superbuild 1: Crash Mat

Reward: Gold brick, “Kowalski’s Shifter” vehicle token

Head to the end of the office building rooftops (POI 3), using the “Points of Interest” section if you haven’t been up top yet. The superbuild is right here, just waiting to be constructed.

Superbuild 2: Ferry

Reward: Gold brick, “Sevila” vehicle token

Head to the end of the docks (POI 2) to find this useful superbuild.

Superbuild 3: Call-in Point

Reward: Gold brick, “Bristler” vehicle token

Find this call-in superbuild along the street, at the south end of Kings Court.

Time Trial

Reward: Gold brick, “Taxi Cab” vehicle token

This time trial has you racing around Kings Court and into Fresco. It begins in an alley north of the office buildings (POI 3).

Train Station

Reward: Gold brick, fast travel

The train station is on the east end of City Hall.

Vehicle Robbery Completed

Reward: Gold brick, “Downforce” vehicle token

There’s a gated parking lot in the northeast corner of Kings Court. To steal the vehicle inside, you must blow up the gate.

Head to the garage after blowing up the gate. Climb a drainpipe to reach a skylight. Use the crowbar to break in and then take a car for an unauthorized test drive.

Vehicle Robber Arrested

Reward: Gold brick, “Arbalest” vehicle token

Get to the end of the office building rooftops (POI 3) with the help of the “Points of Interest” section. The scan spot that kicks off this event is found on the corner of the roof.
