The crafty traveling salesman, Sam, operates out of his home in Beacon Town, but often takes his wares with him on the road. Depending on the day of the week, he can be found in town, standing outside Gus’s Smithy at the mountain, or near the western edge of your farm.
Sam doesn’t offer the best prices—and his stock is pretty limited—but he buys anything you care to sell him, from gems to crops to fish and fur. You’ll no doubt make numerous trips between Gus and Sam as you process ore into gems and gems into money. It’s also worth noting that Sam will buy all of the fish you catch, including the inedible varieties that Bastian doesn’t purchase.
Aside from selling Sam your gems, the main reason to shop at Sam’s General Store is to purchase seeds. As the seasons advance and you interact with him more and more (and complete his requests), additional seeds for the basic crop varieties get added to his store. Come winter you should be able to purchase each of the items listed here. Seeds are sold individually.
