Bastian’s Restaurant

Bastian and his daughter Elise run Beacon Town’s sole restaurant, a popular gathering place and source of employment for other locals. Bastian is always looking to purchase produce, fresh dairy, and sought-after fish for his restaurant. He also purchases the dishes you cook at home. Best of all, he pays 50 percent more for your goods than Sam!

Bastian is the only merchant on the island who sells food items. Visit his restaurant to purchase many cooking staples such as Sugar, Flour, and Salt, among other items that can be time-consuming to acquire on your own. More importantly, however, he also sells many of his recipes. Consult the Cooking chapter for a complete list of the recipes he has for sale. His assortment of recipes for sale increases as you progress through the seasons and complete his requests.

Bastian’s prices for prepared foods like Butter and Fried Eggs are quite high, and you should only consider paying these prices if really in need of an item or if you have an abundance of money. Eggs and Milk are easy to produce on your farm, so you shouldn’t ever need to purchase Fried Eggs or Cheese from Bastian.
