Crossover Coin Missions: Nova
Disruptive Behavior
Once you collect all ten Nova Crossover Coins, Cosmo has a set of three missions for Nova. Look for Cosmo atop the Central Operation Tower where he gives you the first mission to request your help disabling disruptors in the Mining Zone.
Fly to the Mining Zone and follow the yellow objective markers to each disruptor. The first resides on a lower platform, and you can spot a reddish energy glow emanating from the disruptor. Float down to it and detonate it with an Energy Blast.
Fly up to the second disruptor, burn it to the ground, then fly across to another platform a short distance away for the third disruptor. After exploding the third disruptor, look for the fourth disruptor on a high corner platform to your left.
The final disruptor lies down on a protruding catwalk below you. Fly down, trigger a couple of well-aimed Energy Blasts, and you complete your first Nova Crossover Coin mission.
Tough Cell
Return to Cosmo atop the Central Operation Tower and pick up your second side mission. Fly out to the Docking Bay to prevent the Sakaarans from destroying the fuel cell dispensers out there that are critical to maintaining power to the defensive weapons. As soon as you accept the mission, the Sakaarans begin to attack and you have one minute to reach the scene or you fail the mission.
The Sakaarans will keep spawning in the area. Stay near the fuel cell dispenser and repel the Sakaarans with melee combos and ranged Energy Blasts. If the enemies begin to swarm around you, take to the sky and start knocking them over the edge with ranged fire.
When the final Sakaaran falls, you save the fuel cell dispenser. Wipe off the metal shards from your fallen foes and jet back to Cosmo for the third mission.
Dropping In
Drop pods are now invading the Living Quarters. Cosmo sends you there to defend against the Sakaaran threat. Fly into the Living Quarters and zip from encounter to encounter as quickly as you can: You have five minutes to defeat every enemy. It’s not going to be easy.
The first Sakaaran group guards a large platform to your left. Come in full speed in their midst and knock some of them off their feet when you collide with the rooftop. Use your melee moves and ranged fire to clear the roof, then fly on to the next group.
Continue assaulting each group. Repeat your attack pattern at each site: land with an Air Attack, throw melee combos on the nearby foes, then flank out to avoid enemy damage and blast away at range. If you get in trouble at any point, trigger your Nova Core special ability to eliminate multiple foes at once.
Your final two foes will be Large Sakaarans. Avoid their devastating laser beams and circle around them to continually deal ranged damage. If you have to get in close, strike from the side or rear, then dodge back out of the way and return to your ranged fire. You are on the clock and don’t have much time, so make sure you are getting in as much damage as possible on the Large Sakaaran as you dodge around. If you can burst apart both Large Sakaarans before the time runs out, you silence the Sakaarans in the Living Quarters and complete your Nova Crossover Coin missions for Cosmo.
