Man Coverage
- Our defense will be playing tight man-to-man coverage with press at the line.
- Crashing the defensive line out will result in a better pass rush against the QB.
Zone Coverage
- With the setup of this play we have created a Cover 4 zone while showing man-to-man press coverage.
- This will lead to incorrect reads and bad decisions by opposing QBs.
Man Blitz
- User-control the MLB covering the HB.
- If the HB runs a route, follow him. If the HB stays in to block, drop into coverage with the MLB.
Zone Blitz
- You can run the same pressure from Cover 2 but protect the flats.
- Having a Cover 3 and Cover 2 option will be vital to your defense’s success.
