Base Play
- The deep post from this formation is one of the best in the entire game.
- It gets behind most defenses in the game, and if you have enough time in the pocket it will be a TD.
Man Beater
- The slot wheel route will get inside position down the left sideline.
- In our example you can see that we catch the ball just before the FS is able to make a play on the ball.
Zone Beater
- Against Cover 2 and Cover 3 zone look to the TE’s streak and the sideline corner route.
- Against Cover 4 zone look to the sideline hitch and the HB’s wheel.
Blitz Beater
- This play is best used against zone blitzes.
- If you face a man-to-man blitz, the MLB covering the HB typically is able to defend him before he can get upfield towards his blockers.
