Offensive Scouting Report
- QB Matt Schaub has proven that he can put up big numbers throwing the ball around in Houston. What he hasn’t proven is that he can win in the playoffs. He has four years remaining on his contract; you should give him one more year and then cut ties.
- HB Arian Foster started from the bottom and is now here to stay as one of the league’s best HBs. We also like backup HB Ben Tate. His contract is up at the end of the season, and you should bring him back for a few more seasons.
- Outside of WR Andre Johnson, the Texans don’t have much a receiving threat. Focus on this in the draft and find Johnson’s future replacement.
Defensive Scouting Report
- LE J.J. Watt is the single most dominant defensive lineman in the game. His 77 SPD and 97 STR ratings are unheard of at his position. He is faster and stronger than every player he goes up against. He has two years remaining on his contract, and you should consider extending him to a max deal.
- MLB Brian Cushing and LOLB Brooks Reed are a duo that should remain together over the next few seasons. Cushing’s contract expires at the end of the season, and you will want to bring him back for a max deal.
- The Texans added Super Bowl-winning FS Ed Reed to the roster to provide stability to a secondary in need of leadership.

- Foster is an every-down HB for the Texans. He’s especially good at catching passes out of the backfield.
- Foster is 6’1”, so split outside as a WR he is a mismatch for most defenders.
LE #99 J.J. Watt
- Watt is literally the best rated player in Madden NFL 25.
- Watt is the perfect defender. He has not only the speed to play both LB and DE, but also the strength to dominate as a DT.
