Offensive Scouting Report
- QB Tony Romo has always put up amazing numbers as the Cowboys’ QB, but he has yet to get them to the promised land. Romo has seven years remaining on his contract, which means he’s going to be playing for you until he’s 40. This isn’t a good contract for you, to be paying a 40-year-old $28 million in the final year of his contract. Keep Romo around for a year or two and then cut ties.
- HB DeMarco Murray has the potential to be a special player in this league. Give him upgrades in agility and acceleration and you could see him quickly become the best HB in the game.
- WR Miles Austin and TE Jason Witten have been the foundation of the Cowboys offense over the past few years. In a year or two you will need to think about replacing both of them with younger, more talented players.
Defensive Scouting Report
LE Anthony Spencer’s contract is up at the end of the first season. RE DeMarcus Ware is signed on with the team for the next three. Match Ware’s contract for Spencer and keep this tandem together for the next three seasons.
Keep the core of your secondary together over the next five seasons. CBs Brandon Carr, Morris Claiborne, and Orlando Scandrick are all young and can cover.
Your first priority during free agency and the draft is to find a starting FS and SS.
Owner & Coach Profiles
Key Players
WR #88 Dez Bryant
- Bryant is a matchup nightmare. Use him to stretch the field vertically.
- Bryant is great at running underneath patterns and has great hands to hold onto the ball.
RE #94 Demarcus ware
- Ware can’t be blocked in most situations. Send him after the QB on every down.
- Ware can be used as an interior DT as well. Put him inside to create matchup problems for the offense.
