Run Left
Stevan Ridley is a power back—keep the runs off the left tackle.
Run Middle
Ridley fights hard for yards over the middle.
Run Right
Keep Ridley close to the offensive linemen as you move upfield.
Recommended Offensive Pass Formation:
Gun Empty Ace Patriot (1 HB, 2 TE, 2 WR)
- WR Mike Jenkins is 6’4” and will be a huge target in the red zone.
- TE Jake Ballard will see a ton of playing time this season. Get him the ball early and often.
- HB Shane Vereen is a great option for third and long passing situations.
Base Play
- Both outside WRs are unbumpable and will be great user-catch options down the sideline.
- The inside TE’s double move is our favorite route on this play. It torches man-to-man coverage.
Man Beater
- The TE running the shake route will beat man-to-man coverage inside.
- The slot TE running the fade is a user-catch option. Gronkowski can beat any defender running this route.
Zone Beater
- Against Cover 2 and Cover 3 zones look to the slot WRs and TEs.
- Against Cover 4 zones look to the outside WR and HB.
Blitz Beater
- The bubble screen on the left is great against man-to-man.
- The WR screen on the right is great against zone.
