Offensive Scouting Report
- QB Joe Flacco is fresh off his first Super Bowl and no longer needs to prove he is a franchise QB. Surround him with downfield threat receivers and this offense has potential to be one of the best.
- HB Ray Rice is the workhorse of this offense. Make sure he touches the ball at least 20 times a game.
- The speed of WRs Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones is needed for this offense and Joe Flacco to have success. Keep searching for speed in the draft as well as in free agency.
Defensive Scouting Report
- RE Haloti Ngata is the most dominant player in the league at his position. Look to upgrade DT Terrence Cody, who has potential to be a player like Ngata.
- LOLB Terrell Suggs is a premiere pass-rushing linebacker, but he’s in the later stages of his career. Let him go after the final two seasons of his contract.
- CB Jimmy Smith is a very underrated player and is one of the better lower rated CBs in the game. Upgrade his stats during the season and sign him to a long-term deal.
