Recommended Offensive Run Formation:
Strong Close (2 RB, 1 TE, 2 WR)
Run Left
Use the acceleration burst to get to the line of scrimmage, and then find the hole.
Run Middle
Follow your blockers and be patient.
Run Right
Don’t outrun your blockers.
Recommended Offensive Pass Formation:
gun Trips Y Iso (1 HB, 1 TE, 3 WR)
Base Play
- A.J. Green will be a nice option outside. Throw a high lead pass so he can go up and get it.
- If Green isn’t open down the sideline look to the drag and zig combination underneath.
Man Beater
- Against man-to-man defenses we look to both outside slants as our first options.
- These slants get separation after the cut inside. Lead pass inside and high to lead the WR upfield.
Zone Beater
- Against Cover 2 zones look to the sideline streaks.
- Against Cover 3 and Cover 4 zones look to the HB option and the slot WR’s hitch and angled streak.
Blitz Beater
- Your first option is the HB on the screen.
- If the HB is covered look to the inside slot WR running the slant.
