Offensive Scouting Report
- QB Eli Manning can make every throw on the field. Focus on adding in a mobile QB to this offense. Look for one during free agency and in the later rounds of the draft.
- The Giants have two HBs that have potential to turn into stars. If you want a more explosive HB then upgrade David Wilson. If you want an HB who will run over people upgrade Andre Brown.
- Victor Cruz recently signed an extension, whereas Hakeem Nicks has a contract ending at the end of the season. Do whatever it takes to keep them on your team. Also focus on WR Rueben Randle, as he has the ability to become a dominant receiver in this league. Upgrade Randle’s AGI and ACC.
Defensive Scouting Report
- Since the Giants’ magical Super Bowl run during the 2007–2008 season they have been known for having DEs who get after the QB. This still holds true, but the Giants defense is aging, and they lost RE Osi Umenyiora to the Falcons. It’s almost rebuilding time.
- The most important thing you can do to improve this Giants defense is to focus on your linebackers. LOLBs Keith Rivers and Aaron Curry are both former first-round top 10 picks. We recommend signing them both to five-year deals and working on upgrading them to see if you can turn their careers around.
- The Giants have five CBs who have potential to be number one corners. The problem with this secondary is that there isn’t enough playing time for everyone. We recommend focusing on Prince Amukamara and Jayron Hosley.
