Offensive Scouting Report

  • Is Sam Bradford the QB of the future? A lot will depend on how he performs over the course of his contract. He has three years left and will need to play at a much higher level in order to remain a Ram.
  • The Rams have two young HBs in need of upgrades. We like Daryl Richardson over Isaiah Pead.
  • Rookie WR Tavon Austin brings speed and excitement to a receiving unit that hasn’t seen it since the “Greatest Show on Turf” days.

Defensive Scouting Report

  • The combination of RE Robert Quinn and LE Chris Long is one you want to keep together over the next few seasons. Quinn needs upgrades to his STR rating so that he can develop into a star player.
  • Rookie ROLB Alec Ogletree and MLB James Laurinaitis will carry this defense over the course of the next few years. Build your defense around their strengths—tackling and speed.
  • CBs Cortland Finnegan and Janoris Jenkins have 85-plus MCV ratings, so play a good amount of man coverage with this defense.

Owner & Coach Profiles

Key Players

QB #8 Sam Bradford

  • Bradford is one of the best QBs in the game at attacking the short part of the field.
  • Run a lot of crossing patterns over the middle of the field to take advantage of Bradford’s SAC rating.

CB #31 Cortland Finnegan

  • Finnegan is a tough CB for most WRs to go up against. The physicality of his game allows him to win the battle at the line of scrimmage.
  • Finnegan has enough speed to make him one of the game’s elite CBs.
