Warrior Armor

Unique Armor

Hawke can equip up to four pieces of armor at the same time, each covering a specific body part. Companions do not have access to armor per se, but they can still receive armor upgrades.

Minimum requirements must be met in strength and constitution to carry the heaviest plate or chain mail. Good armor is the savior of the tank, but a player warrior is likely to opt for a more hands-on damage-dealer role and will need to account for the absence of shield or Defender talents.

Warriors would do well to look for Rune slots. With weak magic resistance and likely very little elemental resistance, Runes of Warding can make the difference between an easy victory and a barbecued Hawke in fighting the likes of Dragons.
