The Sims 3 World Adventures eGuide Walkthrough France

Shopping And Skills

Though houses line both sides of the river and classic estates stretch toward the hills, Champs Les Sims’ focus is its lovely downtown area. Here, you will see Sims leisurely strolling through the hamlet, doing a little shopping and socializing.

Many of these Sims seem to be having the time of their lives, just soaking up the relaxed atmosphere of Champs Les Sims.

Town Square

Acquaint yourself with several small shops around the Champs Les Sims town square. The Circle of Knowledge is the bookstore. The Catania Cafe is where you can buy food.

Essential gear is picked up at De Goncalves General Store. Relics are purchased at Alexis’ Relics—check daily because inventory changes.

The Catania Cafe sells lots of fruit (including grapes) that you can use during your novice nectar making attempts.

Nectar Making Skill

While you should also work on the Photography skill in France, the native skill at this destination is Nectar Making. The fine art of dropping a bunch of fruit into a basket and then stomping the life out of it has been handed down through the generations.

Now you can take part in the proud pastime of brewing up sweet nectar.

Champs Les Sims Nectary

This skill is best developed by just getting your feet covered in squished fruit, so head to the Champs Les Sims Nectary and use the free equipment there.

Place the required amount of fruit in the basket next to one of the three Nectar Makers (two above ground, one underground in the nectar cellar). Then step in and start stomping.

Downstairs in the nectar cellar, you will meet other Sims interested in tasting nectars and talking about the skill. Share a glass with these folks. It’s easy to make a new friend over a bottle of nectar.

Jump into the purple tank of nectar in the cellar and explore it like a dive well. You might bring up a relic.
