Morning dawns on Catherine’s second day. She really needs to complete the tomb today so we can get some social stuff, shopping, and skill-building done on the third day of the trip.
As soon as Catherine is awake and out of the tent, she uses a Shower in a Can to ward off any negative Hygiene moodlets. A quick bite of dried food and then it is back to the tomb.
Catherine continues exploring the tomb, pushing deeper into its depths by unlocking doors. A chamber contains several treasure chests and these chests contain relics.
I direct Catherine to move some of the statues around the room so she can open the chests and take whatever is inside.
One of the chests holds Ancient Coins. Those will be great for buying Adventure Rewards as soon as Catherine’s visa level goes up to at least 1.
Deeper exploration of the tomb reveals a dive well. Catherine uses the dive well to swim to a secret room. A treasure chest in the secret room holds the keystone for a nearby locked door.
With the keystone, Catherine can enter the chamber that Xi Yuan was talking about—the one with the ancient relic.
Once Catherine has the ancient relic described by Xi Yuan, she can return to the surface to finish the adventure.
Now that Catherine has the relic, it’s time to return to Xi Yuan to hand it over and receive her rightfully earned rewards.
Sure enough, Xi Yuan happily takes the relic and rewards Catherine. Her visa level goes up to 1. Now she can stay in China for five days on her next visit.
It is starting to get late, so Catherine heads back to base camp. There, she can get a good night’s sleep in a real bed and make breakfast in the kitchen in the morning.
Tomorrow, she will finish her first excursion with some skill-building, play time, and socializing.
