Open the Blast Door

Captain Phasma and her troops have withdrawn into the shield room and closed a blast door behind them. You need to open that door. Start off by using Han and Finn to grapple the two hooks and pull down some bricks.

Assemble the bricks into some strength handles. Switch to Chewbacca and pull on the handles to rip open the door. Now your team can get into the shield room.

Defeat Captain Phasma

As you enter the shield room, you take cover behind some barricades. Begin by defeating the stormtroopers attacking you. Watch out for thermal detonators thrown by the Phasma. Move to another barricade quickly to avoid taking damage.

Once you clear the first wave of enemies, a silver panel appears under Captain Phasma, who is hiding behind a shield. Select Chewbacca and throw a thermal detonator at the silver panel to blow it up.

Another wave of stormtroopers arrives and attacks with blasters while Captain Phasma throws thermal detonators. Keep moving and defeat the stormtroopers. Then when another silver panel appears, throw an explosive of your own at it.

Captain Phasma now takes control of a turret. Not only does it fire lasers, but also rockets that can cause a lot of damage. Don’t waste time shooting at the turret. Instead, take cover and shoot at the stormtroopers.

After several rocket attacks, the turret has to cool down for a few seconds. Two targets appear over the cooling ports on the bottom of the guns. Take aim and shoot one of the targets. You can only hit one per round. Survive another set of attacks and then, when the turret is cooling again, hit the second target to finally destroy the turret.

Captain Phasma is blown out of her seat in the turret and down to the floor of the shield room. Chewbacca moves forward and grabs her. Press the buttons that appear on the screen to defeat her. This forces her to lower the shields so the Resistance attack on Starkiller Base can begin.

Starkiller Base Hub

Before you can begin the next chapter, you must reach the level select terminal. Start off by leading your characters along the trail of green studs to the detention center. However, the officer there has a few errands for you to run before he will admit you. You must acquire some items. The first, Galaxy Guzzler, is to the left in a large container. Use the Flametrooper to melt the ice holding the door shut. Then switch to the Snowtrooper to blast the objects inside until you find the beverage. Pick it up to complete your first task.

The hologame controller, your next item, is located on some shelves to the left of the Galaxy Guzzler. Use the Flametrooper to melt the gold legs of the shelf so that it collapses. Then break the crates on top to get the controller. Two items down. One more to go.

The final item, a devious torture device known as a feather, is located in a strong container. Use the icons on the screen to locate it. You can’t break open the container with your weapons. You need something stronger. Push the container along a checkered path to the end. Then go over to a parked snowspeeder and use the controls to fire its blasters at the container. Retrieve the feather and then return to the officer. He will open the door to the detention center and the level select terminal is now available for you to use.
