The Jakku hub is the second hub to which you gain access. Unlike the Resistance Base hub, there are no special features here—only Level Select terminals and collectibles.
Collectibles
The Jakku Hub has five Minikits and ten characters in carbonite. There are also six side missions associated with collecting some of those Minikits and characters in carbonite.
Minikits
Minikit 1
This Minikit is located in the Niima village near the X-wing landing pad. You must complete the Nightwatch side mission. After talking to the character who gives you the mission, follow the trail of green studs into the desert and break a crate. Assemble it into a music device. This lures Nightwatchers out of the sand. Attack and defeat ten to complete this mission. Then return to the start to get the Minikit.
Minikit 2
This Minikit is in a silver container behind the wrecked AT-AT that Rey calls home. Break it open to get the Minikit.
Minikit 3
This Minikit is buried in the sand in the Niima graveyard area. Use the Force to lift it out of the sand.
Minikit 4
Look behind the Millennium Falcon at the Niima Outpost to find a crate with this Minikit inside.
Minikit 5
Complete The Niima Rally side mission to get this Minikit. After talking to the character in the Niima Outpost, go talk to the speeder dealer and pick which speeder you want to race. Walk back to a terminal to start the race. Once the race begins, you must drive through several race gates in under 49 seconds to win the Minikit.
