Overcome the Defenses
To reach the now-crashed command transport, you must overcome a few defensive measures. First, there’s a sturdy wall 1to destroy. Before you can get to the wall, you must defeat 15 Resistance soldiers.
A hovering missile launcher appears next. Tag to Kylo Ren and use the Force to toss around missiles for fun. When that becomes tiresome, shoot the missile launcher with one of its own missiles. It crashes into the wall’s power source with an impressive explosion.
Clear away the remnants of the wall with the Force to get a sneak preview of what lies ahead. The next line of defense is a wall guarded by two turrets and toxic gas. Keep Kylo Ren clear of the gas, then manipulate the left turret to blast the wall.
The Resistance has a strong presence at this wall, so work as quickly as you can. Tag to Captain Phasma, whose blaster overheats the gold LEGO base of a tower in front of another wall. When assembled in front of the wall, the Multi-Build bricks become a motor that brings up a rack of explosive canisters made from gold LEGO bricks.
Use the Force to position a canister in front of the wall ahead. Blast the canister with Captain Phasma’s blaster until it explodes and takes out the wall.
The final wall 2is guarded by blaster turrets atop towers, and the door is locked with four grapple handles. Your first task is to handle the turrets.
Blast the gold LEGO locks on the large wooden barrels to shake them loose. Grab the barrels with the Force and slam them into the turrets.
A First Order troop transport lands long enough to disembark a trio of stormtroopers. Captain Phasma can command the stormtroopers to assist in opening the door and its four grapple handles.
A large chunk of debris blocks the far end of a short hallway. Switch to Kylo Ren and cut a hole in it with his lightsaber.
Capture the Ottegan Commander
When Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma breach the wall, the Ottegan Commander 3 deploys a shield and a rocket launcher. He’s also protected by a few Resistance and Ottegan soldiers.
To crack the Commander’s defense, target the gold power node cover on the right with Captain Phasma’s blaster. The left-hand power node cover calls for dark side Force powers.
After removing the covers, grab incoming rockets using the Force and guide them into the exposed power nodes, which are made from silver LEGO bricks. Resistance reinforcements drop in after each node is destroyed.
With both nodes destroyed, the Commander’s shield fails. He closes the hatch on his ship, but Kylo Ren can easily rip it off and pull the Commander to the ground.
