Resistance Base Hub

When the game begins, you control Poe Dameron and BB-8. The admiral wants to talk to you, so follow the trail of green studs to the command bunker. The door is locked, so use the Resistance terminal to the door’s side. Two rows of symbols appear. When the top and bottom of a column match, press the button that appears below to lock it in. Once you’ve made three matches, the door unlocks. Enter the command bunker.

Inside, Poe receives his orders to go to Jakku and collect some vital intelligence. Exit the bunker and follow the trail of studs back to Poe’s X-wing. The steps leading to the landing platform have been destroyed. Move to the pile of bricks and prepare to assemble them. Select the steps and then build away. Finally, get to the X-wing and set a course for Jakku.

Find the First Weapons Cache

The First Order is on its way to Jakku. The villagers need some way to defend themselves. There are three weapons caches hidden throughout the village. You must find them all. The first is in a hut on the village’s left side. Break up some bricks and then reassemble them into a charge panel. Switch to BB-8 and move to the panel. Press the button that appears on the screen to shoot a power cable, and then move the stick left and right to keep the arrow centered. This powers up the panel and some steps appear.

Take control of Poe again. Walk up the steps into the hut and smash everything. Then assemble the pile of bricks into a droid. Once completed, the droid walks out of the hut and then opens up and deploys several blasters for the villagers to use.

Complete Challenges First

For this level and all others, it’s important to complete the challenges early on, or at least before completing the objectives for the level. Once the last objective is complete, the level ends no matter whether you have attempted the challenges or not. For this level, be sure to get the challenges done before going after the third weapons cache.

Find the Second Weapons Cache

The second weapons cache is hidden in the center of the village. Move to the circular area near a tower. Smash an orange and white crate and then assemble the pieces into a rotary control switch switch. Take control of BB-8 and move to the switch. Press the button that appears on-screen, and then follow the prompts to move the control stick.

Switch back to Poe, and move to the Resistance console which appears on the tower’s left side. Match the symbols in order to open the second cache of weapons. Only one more to go.

Find the Third Weapons Cache

The villager who knows how to open the last weapons cache is locked in a hut on the village’s right side. You need to help him get out. As Poe, fire a grappling hook at the orange target to pull down a crate so it breaks into pieces. Assemble those bricks into a rotary control switch on the right. Take control of BB-8 and use the launcher to propel the droid onto a platform suspended from a crane.

Switch to Poe and break the rotary control switch. Then reassemble it into a crank at the base of the crane. Turn the crank to rotate the crane and move BB-8 to the left. Switch to BB-8 and roll off the platform and to the astromech terminal on the left. To solve the puzzle that appears on the terminal, rotate the outer piece so the inner piece fits. Complete this task to unlock the door to the hut. Once it’s open, the villager runs out and deploys the last weapons cache.

Unlock Force Users

You do not have any Force users at the start of the game. However, as soon as you can, return to the Resistance Base hub. There, you can access the first of four Level Select terminals. By playing through the Battle of Endor levels, you unlock Luke Skywalker (Episode VI) and Darth Vader. Both of these characters are Force users. They both come in handy to get collectibles during Free Play.
