Take Cover
You’ve made it out of the castle and now find yourself in the middle of a battle with the First Order. TIE fighters are strafing your position and stormtroopers are shooting at you. Quickly move to the barricade on the right as Finn or Han Solo. Target the grapple hook and grapple it to pull yourself to a higher platform overlooking the battlefield.
From the higher platform, you have a great angle for attacking the enemy. Shoot at the red and black explosive container so you can defeat several enemies with a single explosion. Then pick off the remaining stormtroopers.
Once the first wave is defeated, your group moves to the next section of barricades. This time you face a turret inside a shield as well as stormtroopers. You are not going to be able to shoot your way through this one. Take control of Han Solo and move to the right. Use his goggles to find a silver part of a statue on the right. Quickly switch to Chewbacca and throw a thermal detonator at the silver base to cause the statue to topple and crush the turret. Second wave cleared.
Two landing craft arrive and drop off more stormtroopers. Not only do they shoot at you, but they also throw thermal detonators. If one lands near you, quickly move to cover behind another barricade before it detonates. There are two explosive containers near the enemy lines, so target those to get more bang from your shots.
Red Brick (Destroy on Contact)Some red and black bricks are on a building behind the stormtroopers’ position. Use a dark side character with the Force, such as Kylo Ren or Darth Vader, to break apart those bricks to get this Red Brick.  |
The final stage of the cover section has you shooting at enemies as they emerge from the landing craft. Keep shooting at them until the landing craft fly away. Then two explosive containers near a wall will become visible. Shoot them both to blast a hole in the wall so you can advance to the next area.
Defeat FN-2199
As your group enters a courtyard, stormtroopers arrive and try to box you in. There is no cover here, so move in and attack. Your first objective is to defeat 12 stormtroopers. The key is to keep moving so you don’t take damage.
After defeating 12 stormtroopers, a riot control stormtrooper drops in from a landing craft. This is FN-2199, Finn’s former squad mate. This is a tough enemy to beat. Stay away from him since you can’t hurt him with normal attacks. When a red icon appears under you, run. FN-2199 is coming at you with a jump attack.
Keep dodging until one of FN-2199’s slam attacks breaks up some bricks into a Multi-Build. You now have your choice of three different objects to build. It does not matter which you choose; they will all stun FN-2199 temporarily and allow you to move in and inflict some damage.
Once FN-2199 recovers, get out of the way. Wait for him to break up the object so you can build another. You need to do this stun-and-attack sequence three times to reach the final fight. Finn takes on his former friend using the lightsaber. Press the buttons that appear on-screen to finally win.
