Fly to the Reactor
Han’s team has taken the shield generator and disabled the shields protecting the Death Star. You can now make your run to destroy it. This level begins with you flying along the space station’s surface and down trenches while approaching the tunnel which leads into the Death Star’s center. Watch out for TIE fighters and turrets as you make your run.
After braving the trench, you now fly through a tunnel which takes you inside the Death Star. The key here is to collect studs and avoid being destroyed. A TIE fighter follows you into the tunnel. The red reticle that appears on-screen is the TIE fighter’s targeting system. Don’t let it hover over your ship or you will take damage when the enemy fires. Avoid obstacles and fly all the way to the reactor.
Destroy the Reactor Core
When you get to the reactor area, there are several steps you must complete to destroy the core. First destroy the three power regulators. They are located near the top of the core. They are easier to hit if you slow down as you approach them. However, that also makes it easier for the TIE fighters to hit you, so use caution.
Once the power regulators are destroyed, shields drop over the core. Now you must destroy all of the shield plating. Fly around and fire as fast as you can to eliminate those shields.
The two reaction generators are located at the top and bottom of the reactor core. They are reinforced, so you need torpedoes to destroy them. TIE fighters with torpedoes now enter the area. Look for the pink trails behind them. Shoot these enemies down and collect their torpedoes. Then launch the torpedoes at the reaction generators to destroy them.
After the reactor core is destroyed, you must fly back through the tunnel to escape before the Death Star explodes. Dodge the obstacles and get out as quickly as you can to complete the level.
