Mission 2-1: The Bat Observatory

Objective 1: Reach Batman

Batman’s gone batty! … and he’s launching missiles all over the Batcave. First things first, you have to get him off of his perch overlooking you and Alfred. To do this, stand next to the Batcomputer. A red reticle appears on the ground, indicating where Batman will fire his missiles. Wait to see the reticle appear next to you while standing near the computer. When it does, move away quickly, letting Batman destroy the Batcomputer in the process.

Build the LEGO bricks from the broken Batcomputer into a wall plug. Target the wall plug as Robin to throw your baton into it. Now, jump up to the baton to swing from it. Swing to the right to jump to a second wall plug, then onto an outcropping near Batman. The Dark Knight flees the scene though, but not before leaving an explosive device. Robin quickly flees as well, so don’t worry about running from it.

Objective 2: Reflect the Lasers

Batman has taken position atop a high perch overlooking a nearby platform. To get to him, you have to make your way down the stairs at the bottom of the Batcomputer area. Your path is blocked by flames. Luckily, Alfred has a particularly handy tool to help him traverse flames, his trusty serving tray. As Alfred, use the tray as a shield to cross the flames.

Before crossing the flames, be sure to destroy The Joker prop in the left corner of the area.

Now on the other side, destroy the red tank near the flames at the bottom of the stage. Use the LEGO bricks that litter the ground afterwards to build a fire extinguisher to put out the flames. Once the flames are out, head to the upper left portion of the platform and you see two silver stalagmites. As with the Batcomputer, lure Batman to target the stalagmites so that his missiles destroy them.

Once the stalagmites are destroyed, a dig spot is exposed. Alfred can dig into this spot, so quickly use him to dig up some LEGO bricks. Build these bricks into a Shield Deflect pad nearby. Interacting with this pad causes Alfred to reflect the laser beam shining down. Aim this beam into the sensor on the left below the platform where Batman is standing. For the next step, Robin needs to don his Techno Suit.

As Techno Suit Robin, run to the upper right corner of the platform and interact with the computer there. After hacking the computer console, a laser beams down and the nearby satellite dish reflects it back to Batman’s perch. This beam causes a walkway to roll out as Batman flees to a higher platform by way of an elevator.

Objective 3: Follow Batman

Hop onto the elevator to ascend to where Batman was. Here you find some LEGO bricks, as well as the Token for Robin’s Illumination Suit. Grab the Token, then head to the right and smash The Joker prop you find there. Build the bricks that you first came across into a beam bridging the gap to the hole in the back wall.
