There’s no sneaking onto Sinestro’s homeworld of Qward! He knows that you’re coming, so you must cripple his planetary defenses first. Fly around and blast all of the fighter ships that Sinestro sends against you. Shoot ships and Sinestro’s mine constructs to discover power-ups, and keep high to avoid the flames that flare up from the large vents below.
Sinestro eventually constructs a locomotive that he sends steaming around to smash you. Collect missiles and fire them at the treacherous train, being careful not to let it ram you. (Approaching from behind is safest.) Hit the train with four missiles to destroy it and secure your landing!
