Mission 1-2: Sewers Interchange

Objective 1: Raise the Water Level

Follow the rickety platform past the wrecked train cars to find a silver platform that you can jump down from. As you step onto the platform, it collapses out from beneath you, dropping you into the shallow pool below. Down here, two of Croc’s goons are waiting for the Dynamic Duo. Make quick work of them before hopping onto the nearby pile of debris (which will serve as a raft in just a moment.) Destroy the junk piles atop the debris to reveal some LEGO bricks. Build these bricks to complete a ladder nearby.

Before climbing the newly constructed ladder, be sure to equip Robin with his Hazard Suit. Now, climb the ladder as Robin and beat down the Croc goon waiting for you atop the toxic goo polluted platform. Now that you’ve dispensed some justice, turn the valve against the back wall to raise the water levels, along with the junk-pile raft in the process.

Objective 2: Cross the Cesspool

Use the raft to make your way to the right, where another wannabe reptile tries to get the jump on you. After handing out some justice, cross the polluted pool to your right. The easiest way to do this is to use Batman to glide across the pool and land on the small barge floating in the neon green pool.

Once you’re on the barge, smash everything to find some bricks that can be built into a propeller. With the propeller built, the barge lurches forward, allowing the Boy Wonder to leap on board.

Switch back to Robin—who still should be equipped with his Hazard Suit—and leap from the barge to the platform overlooking the cesspool. On the platform, there is a fair amount of junk, as well as some spillover of toxic goo. Before you can clear the goo, you have to smash all of the junk. This leaves behind some LEGO bricks that you can build into a water valve. It explodes soon after you use it, but at least it washes away all of the nasty goo!

Now that the toxic goo has been cleared. Switch to Batman and equip the Sensor Suit. Turn on the suit’s Detective Mode to spy a hidden trampoline. Use it to jump up to the next level, just be ready to fight off an ambush.

Objective 3: Fight Your Way Out

Croc may have gotten the jump on the Dynamic Duo this time, but it’s nothing they’re not already used to. While the rush of enemies may be frustrating, be sure to make use of your counter skills to incapacitate foes, leaving you able to deal with other threats while they shake off the counter you just dealt out. If you haven’t been making use of your counter fighting skills up to this point, this is a great chance to go for the Combat Challenge in the process. It only requires you to counter three attacks.

Combat Challenge: Counters

After you’ve beat down all of Croc’s baddies, the villain flees the scene in a thunderous rage. His dramatic exit also causes more Attract pieces to fall around you. Use Robin’s Hazard Suit to collect these pieces, then place them into the nearby Attract Station. Doing so forms a giant hammer at the door to the stage exit. To make it swing down and smash open the path for you, simply pull on the grapple handle above the door. With the path cleared, step through.
