Good, you’ve made it to the escape pod! Now you need to activate it. Lara Lor-Van has joined you here, but leave her be for the moment and use Jor-El’s laser to destroy the big gold sphere in the background instead. Build the sphere’s remaining bricks into part of Kal-El’s escape pod.
General Zod’s Bodyguards
The door behind you blows open after you build the first part of the escape pod, and Zod Agents storm the room. This time, they’re led by one of Zod’s personal henchmen, the mighty Tor-An! Take the fight to Tor-An and damage him three times to knock him out cold.
After Tor-An falls, the formidable Faora suddenly drops onto the scene. This worthy foe blocks melee blows, so put some distance between yourself and Faora, and blast her with Jor-El’s blaster gun from afar.
Activating the Escape Pod
After you’ve finished off Faora, you’ll find more hopping bricks on the ground near the escape pod. Build these bricks to complete the pod, then tag Lara Lor-Van, who is gently carrying baby Kal-El in her arms. Leap up to the pod and place Kal-El inside.
With baby Kal-El placed in the escape pod, a nearby techno panel comes online. Hack it with Kelex to take control of the nearby monitor. Again, click each of the four buttons in the same order in which they light up, just as you did with the previous techno panel monitor. Enter the sequence properly to send Kal-El’s pod blasting off.
General Zod Arrives
You’ve saved Kal-El’s precious life, but General Zod is none too pleased. He storms the room after the pod lifts off; wait until Zod unleashes a barrage of blaster shots, then either blast him back, or get close and land a fast blow to damage Zod while he’s waiting for his laser blaster to cool down. Now is your time to strike. Crack Zod each time his blaster overheats, and keep hitting him until the crazed general finally falls!
