Area A
This area requires you to step on pressure plates to remove the design on them. The first cake is located near the entrance to the area. The pressure plates are located on three different levels of terrain. Defeat all of the enemies here and then pick up your sidekick and step on the pressure plates to break the spell and get the cake.
The first cake is near the entrance.
The second cake also has pressure plates around it as well as several Oak Bears. Clearing them out will take some fighting. Keep moving and don’t let them gang up or surround you. Watch out for the Bear Catapult that starts launching projectiles if you get within range.

The third cake is located up on a higher level of terrain and connected to lots of pressure plates—with lots of enemies to defend them. Don’t even think of clearing the pressure plates until all of the enemies are defeated. If the battle starts getting too intense, pull back, draw a few bears away from the rest, and defeat them individually. Then move back in for more. This is a good time to use a special move because you can use all the help you can get. Once the area is clear of enemies, step on the pressure plates to remove the spell protecting the cake so you can grab it and continue on.
There are lots of large and powerful bears around the third cake. Try to lure them away so several do not attack you all at once.
Area B
The cakes in this area are protected by cauldrons. As soon as you enter this area, move straight ahead and begin attacking the large cauldron that is spawning Pine Bears. Divide your attacks between the cauldron and the bears. Once the cauldron is destroyed, collect the cake.
Attack the cauldron, which is linked to the cake. It spawns bears as long as it exists.
Move around to the right and up the castle steps to find the second cake. It is linked to several Pine Bears. Defeat them to break the spell and then grab the cake. The third cake is near the exit. You have to defeat some more Pine Bears that are linked to it. Watch out for Bear Catapults, which are positioned along the paths to the cakes. After you get the third cake, the magical barrier disappears so you can continue towards the exit from the forest.
Defeat some Pine Bears so you can get the second cake.
