Rescue the Bank Hostages

Three Chitauri are guarding the hostages from the upper level of the bank. You must defeat each of them to free the hostages held in the lobby. Begin by destroying the cracked brick double doors with Thor’s hammer.

Quickly eliminate the Chitauri guard (who lobs explosives) on the other side of the doors. As soon as he falls, more Chitauri pour through the doors and attack. Destroy everything in the room while battling the Chitauri. Then build an Electricity Panel with the leftover bricks.

Electrify Thor’s hammer and charge the panel to supercharge an ATM in the next room. When the ATM explodes, it takes care of the second Chitauri guard and opens two sets of doors.

Extinguish the fires with Captain America to clear the way through the rest of the second floor. Build a Shield Switch near the window guarded by a Chitauri flyer. The flyer blasts anything that tries to walk past it, so you must use the Shield Switch to close the shutters on the window. With the shutters in place, run past the window and take out the final Chitauri guard .
