Beyond the feeling of satisfaction from stopping the bad guys, there are rewards you can earn while doing your good deeds.
Studs
Studs act as currency in LEGO games. You need them to purchase the characters, vehicles, and cheats unlocked while playing through the game. Studs are found everywhere. Even when you don’t see any studs, attack an object in the area and it will most likely turn into studs. The color of a stud indicates its base value.
Silver studs increase your stud count by 10.
Gold studs increase your stud count by 100.
Blue studs increase your stud count by 1,000.
Purple studs increase your stud count by 10,000.
To increase the total value of the studs you collect, boost your multiplier. The multiplier appears underneath your active character’s portrait. Build your multiplier by defeating enemies quickly.
The multiplier begins with a x2 value and can grow up to x10. The number in the multiplier is how much the value of the studs increases. For example, picking up a blue stud (base value 1,000) with a x5 multiplier results in your stud count going up by 5,000.
The multiplier decreases by one each time the circle around the number goes completely black. The circle begins as blue and changes to red when the multiplier is about to decrease.
Minikits
Minikits are glowing, canister-like objects with blinking lights. Every Story Mode level has 10 Minikits, meaning there are 150 in total. When you collect all the Minikits on a level, you earn a Gold Brick and a special Comic Book Cover featuring members of the Avengers.
Red Bricks
Available only in Free Play, Red Bricks are your reward for helping The Collector obtain a special item. Red Bricks unlock cheats that you must then purchase and activate.
Each time you hand over the proper item to The Collector in Free Play mode, your reward is a Red Brick. Each Red Brick unlocks a new cheat for purchase when you visit The Collector’s Room, accessed by in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier.

Gold Bricks
Gold Bricks are important collectibles that can be obtained in many ways. There are 250 Gold Bricks to acquire in the game. You earn Gold Bricks by:
Completing a level in Story Mode
Achieving the True Avenger target in a level
Collecting all 10 Minikits in a level
Finding Stan Lee in Peril and saving him
Solving puzzles in Hubs (7 in each) and in Manhattan (140 total).
