Fight Chitauri Until Reinforcements Arrive

Pick your favorite Avenger here to clear out the debris on the road, but some tasks require a specific Avenger. Use Captain America to extinguish the fires that appear. Switch to Thor to smash the cracked block and reveal silver bricks. Target the silver bricks with Hawkeye to clear the road.

After Iron Man’s brief appearance and a quick fight against Chitauri, move ahead to the large Avengers logo in front of the fire truck . The Avengers Initiative Pad becomes a Shield Smash Pad, where Captain America and Thor work together to destroy a car, which yields the bricks needed to build a Shield Switch on the fire engine.

Activating the Shield Switch sends out a hose that extinguishes a nearby fire and reveals a green Roxxon box truck. Smash the box truck and build a Shield Deflect Pad with the bricks it leaves behind.

Iron Man appears again and directs a heat beam at the Shield Deflect Pad. Step on the pad with Captain America and redirect the beam toward the large gap in the wall behind Iron Man. Target the Chitauri ships flying through the gap until they explode.

One of the downed Chitauri ships crashes into the overpass and sends the Avengers down to the street below. Take a minute to clean up the fires and other debris before moving on.

Move out from under the overpass and scan the area . Switch to Thor and smash the cracked block to reveal a bar your heroes can use to climb to the overpass.

Battle the Chitauri on the overpass, then clear the wreckage of a few of their fliers. Destroy the gold bricks under one flyer with Hawkeye. Use the leftover bricks to build a rocket. Charge Thor’s hammer and direct it at the Electricity Panel on the side of the rocket, which crashes through the tanker blocking the road ahead.
