LEGO Marvel's Avengers Guide Characters (Handheld)
Characters
LEGO Marvel Avengers covers several different movies. As you can imagine, there are a lot of different characters in those movies--nearly a hundred characters in the game! The characters used for the story mode levels are given to you as you play through the game. However, many more are unlocked as you find character tokens or complete challenges.
Once a character is unlocked, you do not automatically get to use it. In fact, many require that you purchase the character before using it. Another important point is that they are not available to purchase until you unlock them. Before you purchase a character, look at their abilities. Initially, you’ll want to choose characters who have abilities your current collection of characters do not have, then you can use those abilities when you replay levels in Free Play and find character tokens and unlock even more characters.
