Goal #11: Make a Landmark So You Can Find Your Home from a Distance
It’s nice and safe to stay near your home, but you can’t always thrive by remaining in one place. Make landmarks so you can see your house from a good distance away. A massive tower of Dirt is one of the fastest, cheapest ways to accomplish this task. We talk about ways to create more landmarks in the next chapter.
Once you’ve made it easier to find your way back, start to explore the surface. There are other biomes within easy reach if you’re brave enough to walk a minute or two in any direction. This opens the way toward more animals, plants, and blocks.
Always secure your rare items in chests at home before venturing too far. If you die and can’t make it back to your body, you don’t want to lose anything important!
