Introduction
The Road to WrestleMania is the linear story mode of WWE ’12 . In order to limit story spoilers, we are going to reveal information only as it happens in the storyline, so if want to be surprised, follow our walkthrough as you move through the story, but don’t jump ahead.
This linear story follows an ongoing WWE season that has you battling it out in a variety of match types with some locker room drama and brawls interspersed. Objectives will be called out in this text—whether or not they are stated on-screen in the game.
Week 1
It’s time. A moment alone. You’re John Cena, World Heavyweight Champion, and you’re in your dressing room going through your pre-match routine.
After a brief cutscene, you find yourself in a hallway. Head down the hall to the end. The underground parking garage is down the hall to the right, and Sheamus stands ominously alone. You can’t interact with him…yet.
Turn back and follow the guard down the hall. Santino Marella stands to your left nursing an injury, but keep going to trigger a cutscene with Big Show warming up for the night on Jack Swagger. Head toward the arena entrance for your moment. It’s time for John Cena’s match with Undertaker.
