Creating a Superstar

Our first Superstar creation: “The American Ninja” Maximus Jetski

Maximus Jetski’s Roster Application Form. This saves your Superstar’s details.

Physical Appearance

The look of your Superstar can change from size, features, muscling, and attire. Each area can adjusted with slider bars from subtle appearance changes to the outrageous.

You start with 48 points to spend, and each manipulation costs a certain number of points to complete. Keep a close eye on the cost as you cycle through the options.

Use the left analog stick to move through the menus and the right analog stick to zoom and rotate your creation. Some slider adjustments will be visable only from a side, back, or front view.

The shoulder buttons cycle through the different areas on the body (left to right in the top-left menu).

Head

Head, face, hair, marks, and scars can all be modified from the Head menu. Cycle through the menu to see all your options, then you’ll have an idea of the depth of this creation tool. Here, we’ve included screenshots of some of our choices for Maximus Jetski.

Body: Height and Weight

Now you can create your size and shape. When choosing your height and weight stats, you will by default select your weight class, and different weight classes have certain attribute strengths in the ring.

You’ll access the attribute sliders right before you finalize your Superstar, but take into consideration what kind of Superstar you want to create: a big bruiser like Big Show or a high-flying luchador like Sin Cara. Selecting a smaller Superstar weight class will limit your power, but will allow for a speedy and agile Superstar.

Selecting one of the bigger weight classes will open up the power and durability, but you’ll be slower. The other attributes (Recovery, Charisma, and Tag Team) can be maxed out.

Body: Size and Shape

Selecting a size picks your muscle template.

Manipulating the Shape features allows you to tweak body part details.

Select the body size for your Superstar. Are you a Husky Harris or an Ezekiel Jackson type? From here, move on to the Shape menu to customize every tiny detail of your body. Typically you’ll be able to modify the length, width, height, depth, or angle, depending on the body part or muscle group.

Clothing

In creating a proper ensemble for your Superstar, know that you’ll have to create a Ring Attire for your Superstar’s in-ring exploits, an Entrance Attire for the walk down the ramp to the ring, and a Cinematic Attire for the starring role in any of the dramatic cutscenes.

There are plenty of options for each attire, so cycle through and check them out. You can also grab some templates to make it easy.

Abilities and Attributes

Here choose your attributes and abilities. We chose Hammer Throw, Comeback, Move Thief, Leverage Pin, and Ring Escape as our abilities. After sliding all the attribute sliders to the maximum for a light heavyweight, our overall rating was 100.

Finalize

In the Finalize screen you’ll complete your Roster Application Form. You can create your Superstar name and an abbreviated name, and also choose from a list of nicknames the announcers will say during your matches. Select your cheers or boos, and finally what show you’re a part of: Raw, SmackDown, NXT, etc.
