Does his hair look all right? Of course it does. If there is one thing that can be said about Alex Riley, he clearly is not lacking in confidence. The son of a former Miss Virginia and an ESPN sportscaster, Riley describes himself as a “rare breed.”

Indeed, after earning bachelor’s degrees in economics and communications from Boston College, he knows exactly what he’s worth and never hesitated to communicate it to the WWE Universe during the second season of WWE NXT.

Riley finished an impressive third place in the competition before following The Miz to Raw, first as his apprentice, then later as his Vice President of Corporate Communications.

In the employ of The Miz, Riley cultivated his affinity for winning at all costs—an attribute that proved useful once he defiantly severed his ties with The Awesome One and set out on his own.
