Bio
Ted DiBiase is the scion of true wrestling greats. Not only is he the son of WWE Hall of Famer “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, but he is the grandson of “Iron” Mike DiBiase.
The third-generation Superstar’s place in WWE didn’t come without hard work, however. In spite of his privileged upbringing, the younger DiBiase paid his dues for years.
He trained with WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race and dominated the independent circuit, all in preparation for his WWE debut.
DiBiase has made it clear he has one thing on his mind—championship glory—which he got his first taste of by winning the World Tag Team title alongside Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions 2008.
Having also embarked on a career in Hollywood, DiBiase made his feature film debut in WWE Studios’ The Marine 2.
Following his foray into cinema, DiBiase went right back to focusing on his in-ring career. Through rough patches or smooth sailing, The “Fortune Son” will always be a determined competitor.
DiBiase is accustomed to getting what he wants, and what he wants is to live up to the legacy of his father. Though it’s a lofty aspiration, with his breeding and training it seems like an attainable one.
Breakdown
Ted DiBiase will challenge you against the tougher opponents with his 80 overall rating. He’s a fair grappler and a pretty weak striker. Use the environment and ringside to help you inflict damage on your opponent.
Use his Dream Street Finisher to damage the body—it’s a transition from a Cobra Clutch to a Chokeslam Finisher that does good damage. His 80 Submission rating will help finish his Cobra Clutch Finisher after you’ve weakened your opponent a bit.
