Case Study: Undertaker and John
Morrison’s Universe!
When we really dove into the WWE Universe , it was interesting to see how the Superstars naturally evolved as the months passed.
We started out with most of our focus on wanting to take Undertaker to the WWE Championship.
About halfway through our season our lack of an attention span kicked in and we got excited about John Morrison .
We took him from relative non-contention for a title to owning the WWE Championship. Here’s our story:
We started out the journey by selecting Superstars to play with and won a few early matches, interfered with some outcomes, and simulated a match here and there.
One of our favorites was Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry . Despite our love for the acrobatic Daniel Bryan , we played as Mark Henry and took the victory.
Undertaker vs. Ax was a fun match.
Sheamus and Kane battled. We finished Sheamus with a vicious Tombstone Piledriver.
Our Steel Cage Match as Undertaker against Christian and Mark Henry was epic. For a Triple Threat Match this sure seemed like a two-on-one.
We took the loss as Mark Henry was able to fight off our attempt to pull him off the cage and escape—with no help at all from Christian .
We interfered in a match between the WWE Championship holder Alberto Del Rio and John Cena . As Undertaker , we came in and the clock ran out on us. Alberto Del Rio retained the title from the draw.
Elimination Chamber: The WWE Championship Is Up for Grabs!
Here we chose to play as the “Prince of Parkour,” John Morrison .
We were the first pod released in the Elimination Chamber Match, so we got to mix it up with Jack Swagger and Rey Mysterio in relative peace for a minute before Shawn Michaels entered the match.
Thanks, Shawn Michaels . That’s our face.
Triple H and finally the champion, Alberto Del Rio , joined the match and heads started to roll.
Rey Mysterio was the first one out, followed quickly by our pin of Jack Swagger . Alberto Del Rio was the most fresh of all the Superstars in the ring and he ran circles around us…for the moment.
Triple H worked on Alberto Del Rio while we finished Shawn Michaels with a Flip Bottom to a pin.
Alberto Del Rio may have sealed his own fate when he saved us from Triple H ’s finisher.
Debt repaid. That’s how we do it, Alberto Del Rio !
Flip Bottom on Triple H for the win! John Morrison is WWE Champion!
In our title defense match against Randy Orton , we chose to watch the match as the Royal Rumble winner Shawn Michaels .
He quickly interferes and finishes Randy Orton , so we retained the championship by default and he could have a crack at John Morrison and the title at WrestleMania.
WrestleMania XXVII: Defending Our Title!
We threw Shawn Michaels a beating. Spinning kicks and high-flying boots off the top rope.
From this awesome reversal…
…straight into this Breaking Point Submission. Yeah. He tapped.
Winning!
John Morrison ’s success was very much reflected in his attributes. Check out all the green!
